Delhi’s Odd-Even Driving Plan: The Rules

ODD-EVEN Formula  :-क्या है ये सब आइये

                              जानते है ...

Delhi CM- Arvind Kejriwal

Delhi’s state government hopes to cut pollution in the capital by restricting the number of vehicles on the roads for two weeks from Friday — but there are plenty of people exempt from the new rules.
From Jan.1 to 15, those driving cars with license plates ending with an even number will only be allowed on the roads on even-numbered dates.

Those driving cars with license plates ending in an odd

figure will be allowed on the roads on the other days.

The rules apply from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through

Saturday and anyone caught breaking them will incur a

2,000 rupee fine.

The Delhi government on Thursday formally notified its 'odd-even' formula. Announcing the modalities of the plan, which is aimed at battling record levels of pollution in the National Capital region, chief minister Arvind Kejriwal also announced a list of vehicles that would be exempt from the scheme.

Here is the list of vehicles that would not have to stay off Delhi's roads on alternate days:

All CNG-driven vehicles (will need to produce certificate)
Electric vehicles
Hybrid vehicles

Two-wheelers
Vehicles driven by women, with only women passengers
Vehicles driven by women, with children below the age of 12
Those on way to hospital for medical emergency (should carry proof)
Vehicles of physically challenged
Emergency vehicles - Ambulance, fire, hospital, prison, hearse, enforcement vehicles, etc
President
Vice President
Prime Minister
Chief Justice of India
Speaker of the Lok Sabha
Deputy chairman of the Rajya Sabha
Deputy speaker of the Lok Sabha
Governors of the states
Lt Governors

I think this law has passed in china later and  then it should be impossed on delhi's the capital of india..

but Delhi C,M Mr. Arvind Kejriwal says that he also follow these type of rules.  because they are also a common man.

The air in Delhi rivals that in Beijing as the
world’s most-
polluted.

If Beijing can do it, so can we.

so lets see what happen next ...
is people of india will accept this or not

and what you think on it ...
how much it will work

but i think govt. should have to take another action to stop this like :-

1.stop old govt vehicles
2.stop or sealed old machinery in factory
3. stop old factories.

etc..
because
now a days 7/10 people have more than one vehicle. so this rule should apply only on middle man ,

Thank you ...
